Welcome to My Fylgja / Art by Barkwald. These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase of products from our website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

3. Products & Nature of Goods

We sell two distinct types of products:

• Original Paintings: Unique, handmade works of art. Minor imperfections, texture variations, and brush strokes are part of the original nature of the work.
• Fine Art Prints, Posters & Canvas: These are high-quality reproductions produced by our printing partner (Prodigi).

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website, including but not limited to artwork, images, text, logos, and graphics, is the intellectual property of Art by Barkwald / myfylgja.com and is protected by copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, display, or create derivative works of any artwork or content without prior written permission from Rohhna Barkwald. Purchasing a physical artwork does not transfer the copyright or reproduction rights to the buyer.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are shown in DKK, USD, or EUR depending on your location selection.

• EU Customers: Prices include applicable VAT.
• Non-EU Customers: You are responsible for any local import duties, taxes, or customs fees levied by your country.

We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Klarna. Payment is charged immediately upon order confirmation.

6. Order Cancellation

Originals: You may cancel an order for an original painting within 24 hours of purchase, provided it has not yet shipped.

Prints: Orders are processed automatically. If you wish to cancel, please contact us immediately. If the order has already been processed or shipped, you will need to follow the standard return procedure.

7. Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Please refer to our full Return Policy for details.

In accordance with EU consumer laws, we offer:

• Originals: Extended 30-day return right.
• Prints & Posters: Standard 14-day return right.
• Return Cost: The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs for non-defective items.
• Damaged Goods: Full replacement or refund upon proof of damage (no return needed).

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, customs delays, or failure of third-party shipping providers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barkwald Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be settled in the Danish courts.
